Hill Top Farmstead is a family-owned farm in Jackson, Michigan, where we grow fresh flowers, raise farm-fresh eggs, bake from scratch, and create handcrafted products inspired by the seasons.
What you'll find here isn't just a collection of products it's a reflection of the life we've chosen to build. From bouquets and baked goods to herbal remedies, finishing salts, goat milk soap, and honey, everything we offer is made with care, intention, and a deep appreciation for simple living.
Our Story
Hill Top Farmstead began with a life-changing decision.
After years of city living, we longed for something different a slower pace, cleaner food, and a life more connected to nature. What started as a desire to grow our own food soon became a passion for sustainable farming, honest ingredients, and creating products we were proud to share with others.
We didn't arrive with generations of farming experience. We arrived with determination, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Every garden bed, fence, flower field, animal shelter, and building project has been part of that journey.
Season by season, we've built this farm with our own hands, learning along the way and celebrating both the successes and the lessons that come with country life.
Our Philosophy
We believe the best things take time.
That's why we choose to grow without unnecessary chemicals whenever possible, make products by hand, and focus on quality instead of quantity.
Whether we're harvesting flowers at sunrise, gathering fresh eggs, baking for the farm stand, tending our honeybees, or crafting herbal products and goat milk soap, we believe every detail matters.
It's not about doing things the easy way. It's about doing them the right way.
More Than a Farm
Today, Hill Top Farmstead is more than a place where things are grown.
It's a place where families stop by the farm stand, neighbors become friends, children discover where food comes from, and customers know the person who grew their flowers or baked their cinnamon rolls.
We're grateful to be part of our local community through our roadside farm stand, and seasonal events, and we're honored every time someone chooses to support our small family farm.
